This weekend, I had a wonderful time at the first annual La Crosse Comic Con at the Main Public Library in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This was my first convention I attended that had a steady stream of attendees from the time we opened the doors in the morning until we closed at lunch and again afterwards to the end of the day.
I really do hope to continue attending conventions, at least as many as I can get to that will have me. I will certainly be coming back to the LC3 next year as I'm sure they will be having another after the great show of interest this year.
Dealing with shows, I have been working with the organizers here at LC3 as far as doing an actual author presentation. This will most likely occur in November during their NaNoWriMo events. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for more details to come.
I'm working on finishing up my science fiction novel as well in hopes to have it together and ready to go for next years conventions. I have made plans to do some special things with this book, and again will say to keep your eyes and ears open for more details, both here and on Facebook.
Thanks again to all who attended LC3 and made it a great convention and thanks to the organizers for setting up such a wonderful convention for vendors.
So long and thanks for all the fish.
